Ride a short section of your planned trail beforehand to confirm where your phone loses bars. Start your share well before that point, and tell your Guardian where the dead zone begins so a pause in updates there doesn't alarm them.
03Use the SOS shortcut if you cannot move
If you're hurt and can reach your phone, call 911 first, then tap SOS so Holler notifies your Guardians with your location. Make sure a Guardian is actively watching the link on their end in case you need help signaling where you are.

Holler won't know you crashed, because it does not detect crashes, but your Guardians still see your location stop on the map. They can call you, then contact emergency services with that spot or come help you themselves. That location is only as current as your last signal, so start the share before you climb into the canyon, and set a return time for an automatic overdue alert.
Can my Guardians see my location without an app?
Yes. They open the link you share in any web browser on any device, phone, tablet, or computer. They do not need to download anything or create an account.
